Post 10 : Blogging experience

Hi bloggers!! Finally!! We have only one week to finish the classes!! Wooh!! It was a very difficult semester, because I had different problems in the academic field as in the personal field. However, I was confronting the different conflicts and continued with my life…

Going back to the point of this blog… The blogging is a very entertaining format to improve English, because we have a feedback between our classmates and the teacher, besides, the different corrections of the blogs and evaluations are very important to improve English and get to know new vocabulary…It was a good instance for know the different interests of my classmates and interact through another platform, as “Blogger” as well as we can use like an experience to improve English writing.

Furthermore, the advantages of blogging are those that I mentioned earlier; and disadvantages of blogging are the use the “Google Translator”, because this platform is very confused, and it is a bad tool for improve English. It is also important to mention that the platform “Blogger” only serves to improve writing and is not improved in the practice of listening. It is therefore that I would increase the practice of listening, because the oral English is very complicated for me.

Thanks classmates and teacher for teaching me in this semester.

Post 9 : Vacations

Hi bloggers!:  Today’s post I going to write about my vacations. This topic is very special for me, because 3 years ago I participated each summer and winter like volunteer of the “Vive tus Parques” program. From those moments, I discovered a world totally different that I had lived on another occasion. In those experiences I knew different people, beautiful natural places, forest rangers, among others, even through these experiences I felt a unique and indescribable sensation, besides; I learned different knowledge about conservation of the natural places, soft skills, personal development, and form my identity that currently characterizes me.

It should be noted that the experience in this program was very significant in my life, even at that moment I decided to change my career.

Those vacations were very different because I was encouraged to live this experience that outside of my comfort zone.

Additionally, all vacations are an unique experience, because, each moment is different and help us to grow personally and relate better to our environment, such as, interacting with family, friends, teachers, academics, scientific, among others.

I hope to continue living new experiences throughout the Chile and world

Post 8 : A subject you enjoyed this semester

Hi bloggers! Today I am going to talk about the different subjects that I have studied during these 3 years in the university.

The most complicated subject was “Biometria de Ecosistemas” in 2018. So, it was very difficult and demanding, because I am wrong in different areas in the tests, which demanded much more time than necessary. Nevertheless, the subjects that I liked the most are: “Productos y Servicios de los Bosques” and “Herramientas Geomaticas para la Evaluacion de Ecosistemas”, because, both subjects established the fundamental pillars of learning that I love of my career. Thereafter, my passion for the career increased a lot, which I encourage my interest for to continue growing professionally and as person.

I like both subjects, because, one the one hand, I think he will give me the necessary knowledge to develop in the future, and on the other, both teachers have oriented me to keep growing and expanding my knowledge like student Forestry.

I have always liked practical activities, because these activities are directly relation with my method to acquire different experiences and knowledge in any field of my life.

Post 7: Website or Expert

Hi bloggers!: Today I ‘tell you about an expert in one of the disciplines of my career. She is Forestry, she has a Master in Management and environmental planning at University of Chile, besides, she is Doctor in Agricultural Sciences with specialization in Economics in Natural Resources at University of Göttingen of Germany. She is Claudia Cerda Jiménez. She has different investigation in the area of the ecosystem services, as, economic evaluation of environmental services through of Techniques of declared preferences, environmental education, vision socio-psychological of the economic evaluation of environmental services, management of protected areas, among others.

She is a excellent teacher and investigator, in the first class with Claudia, she made us reflect about different problems that exist throughout history of Chile. She mentions the importance of conserve the environment through the incorporate of human welfare in the different analysis of an investigation, because, the only effective way for conservation the environment it is through involucrate of human preferences. Since that moment I realized of the importance of conservation of environment through ecosystem services.

The ecosystem services it is a field that I want develop in the future incorporate the economic, social, cultural and environmental context.

Post 6 : Books

Hi bloggers!: Today, I am going to talk about Books. This topic is very complicate for me, because since childhood I had many complications with reading comprehension of literate books. I always tried to read books time after time with intention of improving my reading comprehension.

As time goes by I was slowly generating interest on reading. I tried to read about science fiction, philosophy, fantasy, books with moral and pedagogy, among others. Nevertheless, I still have difficulties with my interest about reading books.

Actually, I read book related with my career. These books are generally about the conecction between all the elements of nature, besides, these readings are very interesting, as the book “La vida secreta de los árboles, Descubre su mundo oculto: que sienten, que comunican” by Peter Wohllbeen. These books read stories fascinating about abilities of the trees and your connection with other trees through their roots.

I would like to read more self-help books and books related to spiritual connection.

Post 5 : My favourite Photograph

Hii bloggers!!. I’ve got several favorite photos in different places with different people, but this one is particularly special to me, since it reminds me one of my best New Year’s Eve. In that time I went with my friends to the “Cajon del Maipo” on December 31, 2017. I was with some very good friends enjoying the beauty and immensity of that place. I was very happy and excited, because it was the first experience that I lived outside of Santiago and without my family. We camped in that place, in which we relaxed, listened to the river, birds, talked about life and had an end of the year outdoor. It was amazing. An experience that I would repeat.

This photograph reflects a unique and very special moment, which marked a milstore being the year 2018 one of the best years of my life.

Post 4 : Music

Hii bloggers, today I going to talk about my favorite music. To be honest, I must admit that I don’t know much about music. Even so, I like different groups and singers that exist around the world, such as, Twenty one pilots, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Coldplay, among others. Besides I mainly listen music to relax and motive me for realize different activities during of day. I started listening music with the “King of Pop”, better known as Michael Jackson, this singer was recognized around the world for your sing and amazing show of the dance, which inspired me to dance in this latest year. My style of music is very assortment, because I like Rock, Tropical, Latin and Pop music. Even today I listen to and dance Salsa, because it is very cheerful and funny for me.

Finally music is a mood to express different emotions that we can feel every day.

Post 3 : My favourite piece of technology

Hii!! 

My favorite piece of the technology is a computer and smartphone, because these two elements are very important in my work and studies, besides the computer I use for watch series, movies, browse for internet different information of my interest about environmental, social and cultural context around of the Chile and world. I can`t imagine my daily life without technology, because it is in everything that`s people make during of the day, week and every year. Also the smartphone is a piece of the technology that I use every day to communication with my friends, family and every person, it is a fast way for contact with different people, company, university, among others. 

It should be pointed out that the technology is a good tool for different things, as, help the planet, optimize the process of the industry for decrease the environment impact, facilitate the access of the information, etc.

post 2: Why did you choose your career?

Hi bloggers!! When I was at school I used to dream about becoming geology, since I have always interest know about the geomorphology of the different places that visit during of these years, mainly because I was constantly going to the forest and mountains of the Central zone of Chile. In the first opportunity I was study in the “Programa Académico de Bachillerato” with intention of study Geology at the University of Chile. Nevertheless, these year was very complicate for me, because, academic environment was competitive, disagreeable, among others.However, I begin again a new opportunity at the University of Chile in the career of the Forestry.

In this moment of the life I am very happy and enjoy every day with this decision, because, it is a thing that I be passionate and enchanted. I would like to work in the National Park around the world, besides, I am very interesting in working with ecosystem services.

Hi bloggers my name is Eduardo Pizarro Espinoza and i was born in Santiago, Chile at 19 of July in 1997. I studied my primary and secondary school at Alberto Blest Gana School. Later I entered Universidad de Chile in 2017 in the faculty of forestry science and nature of conservation to Forestry engineering carrer.Currently in third year. I live in La Granja with my mom and sister, who is a kinesiology and actually she is building your own business about alternative medicine, as massage therapy, acupuncture, among others.My main hobbies are salsa dancing, travelling, watching films and series, hicking, clubbing with some friends and learn about ecosystem services. I am interested this topic because is very important for understand the interaction between social, economic, cultural and environment context, which involve the direct and indirect contribution of the ecosystems of human welfare.
